Give your mind and body a state of total ease ~ gentle kneading, long smooth strokes and easy stretches bring you to a healing place. Chronic tension calls for focused, more intense work to loosen bound muscle and release troublesome knots. A personalized consultation will determine which of these techniques are best suited based on your needs. When receiving a more intensive treatment it is beneficial to breathe deeply and most important to communicate with your therapist if the experience is painful. Finding the line when your body nears its tolerance limit, without crossing it achieves maximum results. One cannot simply “muscle” their way in. Better to have tension eased; coaxing, not forcing ~ allowing for deeper, restorative breathing and an overall healthier sense of being.
